NATIONAL FINE ARTS FESTIVAL – ORLANDO, FL
To qualify to be a participant in this event you must
receive a
Superior with Invitation from the Southern Missouri District Fine Arts Festival. The cost
information and registration forms will be available
after the SOMO Festival. This event will require the
entire week in Charlotte, NC including time for travel.
Students who would like to attend as a General
attendee may also attend.
GENERAL INFORMATION
1.
All
questions regarding Fine Arts and both the District and
National Festivals MUST go through a
Pastor, Fine Arts Coordinator or a designated leader.
This is designed to keep calls to the District and
National offices to a minimum as many questions are
duplicates and the answers contain information that all
may find helpful.
2.
Rulebooks are available by the Welcome Center, free of
charge through GPH, and also
online.
By signing the registration form both STUDENT and
PARENT are pledging that they have read the
rulebook and will abide by everything it contains. This
will include the fact that the Coordinators and
Evaluators at the festival have the final say and,
barring extreme circumstances NO
adjustments will be made. For this reason:
3.
Throughout the year and at both the District and
National Festivals, any questions, complaints, comments,
or concerns WILL go through Pastor Nick,
Pastor Darren, Fine Arts Coordinator or a designated
leader. This is to help separate the emotion from the
situation. Many issues that arise are also covered in
the rulebook and are not necessary to bring up at
Festival.
4.
We will
attempt as many fundraisers as you, the students and
parents, are willing to conduct. The funds from these
fundraisers will be used solely for the National
Fine Arts Festival fees, traveling, and hotel expenses.
Additional payments may be needed and will be due
BEFORE we leave for the festival.
5.
We must
have contact information for those interested in Fine
Arts because it is vital that we be able to contact
anyone and everyone at short notice for updates on Fine
Arts Festivals, fundraisers, events, and any other issue
that may arise.
